The Taiwanese government will hold the “2019 Muslim Festival and Eid Al-Fitr Celebration” at Da’an Park, Taipei, on June 9.
Taiwan News reported that this was conveyed by the Taipei Department of Information and Tourism (TPEDOIT) on May 14. The celebration was held because based on last year’s experience, the Eid Celebration in Taipei could attract more than 40,000 visitors.
“At this year’s event, there will be Muslim gourmet food stands, Mu’min products and unique cultural experiences,” said a TPEDOIT spokesperson as quoted by Taiwan News.
In addition to those mentioned above, according to a TPEDOIT spokesperson there will be a Muslim Outdoor Lecture which will be held for the first time this year, focusing on the theme of Muslim lifestyle and culture.
“The lecturers who will be invited will share their perspectives and experiences with the audience,” said a spokesperson for TPEDOIT.
