Red Market, also known as Edificio do Mercado Vermelho or Mercado Almirante Lacerda, is a three-story wet market located at the intersection between Avenida Almirante Lacerda and Avenida Horta e Costa on the Macau Peninsula. Red Market is one of the famous markets in Macau (a local landmark).

The Red Market building was designed by an Architect named Julio Alberto Basto in 1934 and finally established in 1936, the name “Red Market” refers to the red bricks used for construction. The Macau government protects this market as a historic building based on Decree no. 83/92/M.

In the past, the Red Market was located next to the sea where sellers bought their goods directly from the pier. A wide variety of seafood is available twice a day from mainland China or locally. On the third floor is a place for selling beef and pork, on the second floor is specifically for selling fish, while on the ground floor it is a place for selling; vegetables, fruit, poultry products, dry food, perishable products and flowers.

Red Market is open daily from 07:30 to 19:30. Several bus numbers to reach this location are: 6, 9, 9A, 23, 28C, 32, N2.
