A total of 17 Indonesian citizens (WNI) who pocketed a negative Covid-19 certificate and made direct flights from Jakarta to Kansai International Airport, Japan, were tested positive for the Corona virus after undergoing an antigen test, Thursday (11/19/2020).
According to Judha Nugraha as Director of Protection for Indonesian Citizens and Indonesian Legal Entities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all Indonesian citizens who are women and currently undergoing treatment at a hotel in Osaka prefecture are participants in the internship program.
“The Indonesian citizens entered Japan on November 11, 2020. They are Indonesian citizens participating in the internship program,” said Judha, quoted from detik.com, Wednesday (11/18/2020).
Quoted from kompas.com, Thursday (11/19/2020), the Japanese Ministry of Health feels that Indonesia needs to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the Cobid-19 test results so that similar cases do not recur.
Meanwhile, since last month the Japanese government has allowed people from abroad to stay in the country in the medium and long term.
